Why PBT Matters For Your Mouth

PBT breaks down in soil within 90–120 days, unlike nylon bristles that linger for years. Our bristles are crimped and contoured to prevent gum care and mouth irritation, especially in younger years.

Questions

Everything you need to know about our products

What is PBT?
PBT is an engineering plastic used in demanding applications for its strength and plasticity. It forms the outer layer of our bristles, providing a low-friction surface that can write or function for 6 months before natural decay sets in within 90–120 days.
Are these products food-grade safe?
Yes! Our team uses only natural bamboo chemical or irritant bamboo fiber, with food-grade materials. Everything from the bamboo to the bristles is built to meet safety standards in isolation.
Why not use nylon bristles? +
Nylon is avoided because it can cause gum care and mouth irritation while the natural bamboo bristle layer provides better oral health while the environment benefits too.
How long does PBT take to decompose? +
PBT breaks down within 90–120 days. This is far faster than conventional plastic bristles. When your product reaches the end, it generally goes back to earth.
Can I really use it for six months? +
The dual-layer design extends the PBT core's life to create smooth daily (brushing, combing, or writing). The outer bamboo layer provides a gentle grip on your gums and skin throughout these six months.
